Formed more than 20 years ago by Mirza Fur and James Foulkes in an old bridal shop in Woolwich, London, we have consistently developed and grown by staying true to our core values – integrity, respect, strategy and agility.
Now based in larger offices in London and San Francisco, still independent and still with Mirza and James at the helm, our values remain the same. We continue to deliver excellence through results by developing, recognising and empowering talent.
Mirza and James establish Kingpin from an old bridal shop sharing one computer, launching with three clients; Microsoft, Oracle and Connections Group.1997–1999
Kingpin continues to expand, growing the client base and team, including the setting up of our in-house telemarketing division. Partnerships with industry giants such as Microsoft along with our first Google Search and lead generation campaigns meant that a bigger office was soon required.2000–2005
We launch the first ever ‘Kingpin Charity Quiz Night’ raising £7,500 for Great Ormond Street Hospital. The night proved such a success that it has now become the biggest event of its type in the media industry, raising nearly £100k to date. (We won a few industry awards too).2006–2010
2015 saw Kingpin become a truly international agency with our expansion into North America, opening a new office in San Francisco. As the tech landscape evolves, so do we, developing expertise in programmatic, marketing automation and digital media, helping our clients stay ahead of the curve.2011–2017
In 2018 we turned 21! And with our 21st birthday came a new look logo and website. At a time when the tech landscape continues to develop and transform at an ever-increasing speed, we needed a new brand and website that clearly represented what we offer and who Kingpin are as an agency.
